Fruit a cottony achene (produced only by the female flowers)

Usage:
an excellent ground cover for large dry sunny landscape areas, particularly suited for slope plantings; valued for its bright green foliage, soil stabilizing properties and durability under various types of soil conditions; somewhat fire-retardant

Watering little is required after establishment; an occasional dee psoak irrigation in summer improves appearance

Pruning head back strongly every 2-3 years to encourage new growth and eliminate accumulation of dead stems
