Watering regular is preferred; in mild coastal climate areas the plant is fairly drought-tolerant; requires heavier watering at inland sites
Fertilizing as needed, 1-2 times a year; check for chlorosis
Pruning remove old dead fronds; thin out clump as needed for shape
Pests/Diseases relatively free; may get crown rot at poorly drained sites
